Video work

Alongside photography, I also record wildlife sequences in the field to capture natural behaviour and atmosphere.
The clips below are short examples of observational footage filmed during encounters with wildlife in natural habitats

A red deer stag emerging from tall grass during the autumn rut. Males announce their presence with loud bellows and patrol their territory while competing with rival stags for access to females.

A marsh harrier slowly quartering over a foggy coastal marsh. These raptors often hunt by flying low over reedbeds and open marshland, using their excellent hearing and eyesight to locate small mammals and birds.

A barn owl hunting over open grassland at dusk. The sequence shows the typical hunting behaviour of the species: quartering low over the field before dropping suddenly into the grass in an attempt to catch prey
